I've already started. I don't think JR will mind if Surge Mesmers and Ether Prodigy Ele's aren't immediately credited to him.

There is a new metagame, and its name is JR.
I'd also be curious to see some necro builds in here. Necromancer remains one of the characters that I'm really not sure how and when to plug into a balanced build, or exactly what role it fills. Taints + death are obvious enough, but Blood and Curses I'm less familiar with integrating properly into a team.

BiP support Necromancer
Necromancer/Monk

Suitable For: Ritual Lords excel in GvG. They support both offensive and defensive characters by giving them 6 extra energy pips. You can find them in the backline, as far from the enemy warriors as possible.

There are very, very few builds that can really justify having a BiP Necro as a standard character. And even fewer of those are suitable to GvG.

Sorry, I guess I misplaced the tag a little bit. You're still having 12 dom on your gale/dom mesmer.

Just wondering, what is this GoR dom mesmer? I assume that it uses Glyph of renewal? but... how? Don't think I've ever seen one before, unless it's something obvious.
O wait, is it just like a galedom mesmer except without expel and glyph of renewal instead? I can see how this can be fun, as 2 times diversion is always nice.

Finished with the classes, got lazy with the Necromancers though. Any additional suggestions on them would be helpfull.

Troll, Distortion and Dodge also give this guy a decent amount of solo ability, being particularly good at stopping base gank attacks if he can get there first.

That build doesn't have Dodge.
Where's the AoD assassin ? can't find him =(
Nice list of builds, gj.

Degen Necro
Necromancer/Monk
Weapon Set 1:
Weapon: +5 Energy Sword of Fortitude
Offhand: PvP Idol (Halves Recharge of Blood Magic 20% , +30 Health)
Weapon Set 2:
Weapon: +15e/-1regen Truncheon
Offhand: +15e/-1regen Idol
Pupose: Maily a pressure build, with the ability to use several Warrior shutdown hexes. As with the Illusion Mesmer this character really does need to work in tandem with at least one other hexer, to ensure that the opposition struggles with removal.
Blood Magic: 16 (11 + 3 + 1)
Curses: 12 (11 + 1)
Soul reaping: 9 (8 + 1)
- Offering of Blood [ELITE] (Blood Magic)
- Life Siphon (Blood Magic)
- Faintheartedness (Curses)
- Parasitic Bond (Curses)
- Shadow of Fear (Curses)
- Draw Conditions (Protection Prayers)
- Holy Veil (No Attribute)
- Resurrection Signet (No Attribute)

Well, I tryed to write that build you call "utility necro" (in other words: what is an utility necro?).
BTW: [iB] somtimes runs such a bip nec in a normal balanced build (2 wars, 2 e-surgers, 2 boon-prot, 1 runner)...

Typo here, it's meant to be BM 10+1+1 and go with 8+1 Expertise I think.

Does what is normally a main party character really justify the use of Distortion? I did originally have it on the bar, but those three points needed in Illusion actually make the attribute spread a whole lot less efficient.
Blackout again requires more attributes on a character that really needs as many as they can get. It keeps things a whole lot simpler for what are basic characters just to get the important aspects down.
